Well we are still having success with the 09 car,Shannon Amos was on fire again at the Col Classic in Sav Ga,he put his SX8 second on the grid in front of some of the fastest guys in the southeast.

The race was rained out so Shannon takes the second place finish home.

Race Report:

The SX8 took another win Saturday, powered by my RB-K9. This time at
Zoo City in Asheboro NC, against all the newest Xmas kits the racers
had, from Mugen, to Losi, to RC8, Kyoshos, and Z-Cars. I qualified
for P2 in the 2nd round of quals, and sat out of the 3rd round due to
a loose steering knuckle screw.

In the main I held onto second for most of the race, until the
resurrected Will McGiver closed the gap with his OSspeed powered Mugen
and passed me, after my bobble. I regained 2nd after the midway
point, and then set my sights on the 1st place Losi (also powered by
the $500 OSspeed). Once I got alongside the leader, he darted into my
pipe (ala Chad Reed into Stewart) and punted me off the track, but I
kept my composure and drove around him in the next two laps. I then
stretched my lead to as much as 8 seconds in the closing minutes, only
to have the Losi close the gap to 2 seconds, after a few laps of
me coasting. I then pressed on and drove mistake-free until the end, finishing with a 7
second lead.

As the winner, I recieved a brand new Team Associated T4 stadium
truck. I've had several offers to buy it from me, but I may just give
it to my nephew/racer in training.

What a great weekend! Obviously I'm geeked. Hopefully TQ will have
some new kits soon. My carbon fiber front shock tower is not likely
to last the entire season.

Luther and fellow TQ drivers. Here is a professionally filmed and edited video of the Colonel's Classic a few weeks back. This was my first time on Camera so cut me some slack. But I did what I could for TQ and getting the name out there!

The car was amazing, only got to run one qualifying run then rain out, but like Luther said I was 2nd overall. The did run the event on Sunday, however 90% of the people left including myself. Hope you enjoy the video and big props to TQ!

Thanks guys.

Luther is keeping the new car on the DL, but he told me (which I am sure he doesn't mind me telling) the molding was getting done in the next few weeks and be expecting it sometime late feb to late march.

I was really hoping I would have it before the Psycho Nitro Blast on March 4th, but its not looking good at the moment.



Luther- any more updates you can give us? Its like waiting on Christmas morning for 3 months!

I just signed up for Pyscho Nitro Blast III and it reminded me of last year.

I took 2nd place a won a TQ buggy, the problem was.....it was an empty box??

The promoters and I have tried for almost a year now to get the buggy from Luther that was promised. All I heard in the beginnig of the year was that I was going to get the new buggy 09 model I guess, now I see TQ is on another version.

I have sent over 50 emails and PM's and still no buggy. So anyone considering TQ, you may want to think about who you are dealing with.

I do not want the buggy anymore, in fact if I did get it, I would like to give it to a kid or some racer that needs some help.

Luther, thanks for nothing!!!

Damn u still havent got the buggy from tq!? i know for a fact that the box was empty cause i carried the box back to the trailer! I would never give them my business if they treat people like that
