I take it your talking about me, i haven`t tried it yet but it could make a difference in the main. The buggie on the right i think i will shorten from around the engine to be the same as the one on the left. I think if you keep it organized ( looking clean and not all over the place ) it look`s good. Plus with the extra filter there`s less of a chance of dirt getting in the engine.
We will see how it work`s.

Hi All,

Could someone please tell me where I can find Billy Easton's set up, when he was driving the Buggy? I was after the worlds set up. It was never on the TQ site to begin with.

Also which on-line store stocks all the parts? RC P...... (Forgot the Name) on ebay only has some of the parts I am after.

Cullmanrchobbies.com in Alabama has some, Holeshothobbies.com, RCprocenternet is the name on Ebay you are thinking about.

Hey guys,

The car was awesome this past weekend at the first round of the GCS. Qualified 5th, however just a few seconds from getting 3rd, really close times. I ran 5-5-2 diffs and the car was the best it has ever been. The lightweight parts really got the car out of the hole much better.

Unfortunately in the main, 2nd turn 4th and 3rd got tied up I went to the inside and passed clean, I was going full wood and 2nd place guy flipped on his lid and there was no where for me to go. Broke shock shaft, shock tower and outdrive!! What a hit. Really bummed I felt like I could have definately been on the podium and maybe fight for the lead. Car just got better and better.

I also ran OFNA silver springs, they are a little stiffer and shorter than stock ones. Really made the biggest difference of all my changes so far.

Andrew- I personally wouldn't run two filters and all that fuel tubing, but I don't race in Canada either so maybe the altitude and temp. up there you need it.

Sounds like you had a good time Shannon, sorry to hear about your misfortune though. I`m sure you will have plenty of podium appearances.
I was told that running the extra fuel line and filter i could improve my fuel run and have less chance of dirt in the engine. What`s the disadvantage of the extra line and filter ?

Being a newbie to the hole scene i`m always open for suggestions.

Thanks in advance !!

Wow Shannon!
I had a good weekend. The car was dialed. I'm running 4-5-2 in the diffs. 45wt-front shocks and 35wt rear. The rest of the car is stock setup.

I TQed (no pun intended) and made a mistake on the first lap and went back to second, caught back up and put some pressure on the guy and he made a mistake, got around him and started singing the NSYNC's song... BYE BYE BYE. and never looked back.

Brian, Doc, Richard and I were going to The Battle at the Beach this weekend but they are calling for 70 to 80% chance of rain so we cancelled. I'm plan to go to TN to march madness this Sat instead and I think Brian is going with me.

Andrew-Thanks.

One big disadvantage is that there is just way too many things that could go wrong. More fuel line and filters mean more pinches, cuts, air leaks, etc. Also, you might not get the same back pressure you need and the fuel has a LONG way to go to get to the engine where it needs to be. You will definately get more run time because you have more room for fuel. here in the states I don't think they would let us run that at a big race like a pro series or nats where they inspect the cars.

When I get a chance to take a picture of my setup I will post if for ya. It works good for me.

Wow Dave - Welcome to the Team. I was wondering if you were still racing. I use to see you on the old Associated videos. So far I have had good luck with the buggy. The one thing I have seen guys having trouble with is shock shafts. Other than that it's a tough buggy.
