I would say buy a big block kit and put a Go Tech 5 port in it.
Standard flywheel and clutch and bell will work with the combo.
If you do this make sure you flip your clutch shoes to leading edge instead of trailing as they have a bad habbit of tearing thru the shoes where they mount on the flywheel pins.
FYI mine runs standard traxxas clutch and shes plenty fast.
They are a great motor with plenty of power and cheap enough too.

I run a BB in my Revo tho i do race it and i put a Ninja in mine with a Traxxas Big Block kit, works sweet, mind you its far from a basher.

Want a look check this out http://www.users.on.net/~danzig/WhyallaIntRound1.wmv

Its the Yellow beast the same as the intro picture
Enjoy and go the Go Tech

O.S 18 lack the power IMO unless its on a massive diet.

is a RB TM523 a good deal?

will this engine be a good choice for basher/race and will not eat up my gears?

thanks
