Update on my Go 3 sport...
Has about 2 gallons through it so far. Today a swapped out my stock clutch bell for a 14t on my 8ight. The car is much more drivable now as I had way to much on the bottom. The Go 3 seemed to really wake up with the 14t, it gets to stretch its legs down the back straight. For direct comparisons I can easily pull an RTR 8ight with the mach 427 and I can match if not pull a sportwerks .21. I also diced with a friend today running a werks B3 and actually ran into him down the straight once or twice. So before with the 13t I could stay out of trouble in high speed sections, Now I can feel confident that I'm not going to lose because of a lack of power. Sorry, no other motors to compare to, everyone here runs sportwerks for some reason. I think its because there so supported by our LHS.
After 2 gallons it still has plenty of pinch and starts right up when its cold. Obviously its a bit harder to start when hot due to the aluminum carb. No leaks or other mishaps to report of just yet. So far so good!

I am interested in the Go Tech engines. Which specific model are you running? And what made you pick that model, specifically.

Man, everything I hear about these engines indicate that they are just phenomenal. I do believe I will be putting one of the 3 port sports in my new (used) XB8 EC. For $115 at Amain Hobbies, how could I not?
Now I am excited, because I can get an engine a lot sooner than I thought I would due to the low price. Do these engines come with break in instructions and tuning manuals when purchased new?

Im running the 3 port sport. I picked it because of cost, it was a bit of a gamble. and in the end, it payed off big time! The locals at the track continue to be impressed by my little $115 motor.
