Default What are the pros and cons on stiffening up your truggy chassi?

Someone told me there's no reason to stiffen up my 8T for racing. Should I leave the stock plastics or upgrade? If I upgrade it's going to be king headz. I have the king headz engine mount which has helped me from blowing out my bearings Thanks for the input guys.

I know that in buggy, on rough tracks it sometimes helps to run plastic braces or take out some of the screws on the aluminum braces to let the chassis flex a little more in the rough stuff.

Stiff'n it up, ... truggies can almost always use more steering..... By running the braces it'll free the truck up some!... The buggy on the other hand I let it flex...........Hope this helps!
