Default HELP HELP T_MAXX QUESTION!

I just picked up my T-Maxx 3.3 from the hobby shop, and they said that I have to get a new engine. I have a 4-tec with a pro .15 engine in it.

CAN I USE THE .15 ENGINE IN MY 3.3?

HOW DO I SWITCH ENGINES?

my suggestion... if they said you need a new motor then i would do the engine replacement plan. dont mess witht he junky pro. 15 you will be going from something that is fast to something that crawls. if i was you i would just buy a new motor like an o.s .18tm or something like that.

Did you buy the Maxx new? If you did and there is a problem with the engine they should stand by their product. You will be unhappy with the .15 in the maxx. I agree before going with the .15 either go through the engine replacement program through Traxxas, purchase the O.S. .18 engine for about the same price as the replacement, or step up and buy the OS .21 direct bolt in. Your choice.
