8ight t rtr or hyper st rtr?

Go for the 8ight-T definately. I have the race roller but the rtr isn't far off the pro truggy. It comes with an excellent radio, powerful motor. They are easy to work on and you can upgrade them with a whole heap of goodies.
Avoid getting parts from hobby shops in Australia. O'reillys (LOSI distributor) are a ripoff compared to getting them from A'main or LOSI parts house and you can have them in the country within a week. I have waited a couple weeks for parts coming from Adelaide.

I use A-main for 98% of my parts and there are a couple of e-bay sellers where you can get a great bargain.
You need the sportwerks backplate and the 8ight pro (B/T) engine mounts.
But for the truggy I would recommend the KHZ extended engine mounts. They help take out some of the flex that puts stress on the clutch bell and spur gear, resulting in clutch bearings lasting a lot longer and bells not wearing prematuralery. The clutch bell is designed better than the Hyper ones, 8ight's have an oversized rear bearing.
