i just picked up a set of big ofna bore shocks for my mbx5 and i went to put them on and fronts have it jus looks weird/different shocks look to compressed...do these shocks work with the mbx5 or do i gotta get mugen specific shocks

They don't work. Sel them to me! You should be fine. Use the setup you have before and go from there.

I ran a set on my MBX5R today and they worked fine. You need to use the MBX5R shock towers instead of the MBX5 towers if you don't have an R.
