RB ws7 pipe combination
Hello,
I'm new member on this forum.I have losi 8ight buggy with a rb ws7 engine.
Now I looking for this engine pipes.I thinking about jp-2 and mugen 1005.What do you thin about this?Maybe you know more very good pipes?
One year ago, I had xray xb8r with rb ws7 engine and 2045pipe, so with this combination I couldn't overjump springboard...The competitions could outrun in straight line...

The JP-2 will work will with that RB engine. It will make very good power and will not be too radical on the bottom. If you want a little more on the low end you might try a JP-3 also.
Best all around I have found for the WS7 is the .053 by Dynamite. It is built like a rock and lets this engine breath just right. They sell for $50 with the header and springs. Great pipe.
I am stunned you could not get the 2045 to work. I run it on my S7 all of the time and it is the recommended pipe for these engines. Are you sure you weren't breaking loose when you gave it the gas? Interesting..... You are talking about the RB 2045... right??
Hope this helps.
I do not know anything about the other pipes you mentioned.

Yes I have dynamite 053 and will try, but this pipe don't correspond efra rules.
Absolutly, it's was rb 2045.The buggy went about 5minutes.
And with a breaking system was all ok.
So, everyone if you know more info about jp-2,jp-3,jp4, mugen 1005 and more good pipes, please help.
I hope, that you understand me
Thankyou very much

I recently got rid of my RB WS7-II and all I have to say is that, that motor was awesome with a JP-3 pipe. I absolutely loved it. I can honestly say that I did not try any other pipe on that motor b/c I was so happy with the performance that it was hard to want to try something different. And if you ask anyone that knows me, I am never one to settle, but this time I was and never thought twice about it. I was also able to get 10+mins on a tank with my 8ight.

Silly rules!.......
The trouble here is the rules he must follow. The only Jammin pipe that he can use is the JP-4 and the RB 2045 is rule compliant also. I would stick with the RB pipe and tune for clutch and gearing. Run the long header if you need more bottom.
On my S7 I get right at 11 mins per tank with the 2045 and it seems real good to me. Damn rules!
If your club will allow it, the JP-3 will give you more bottom end than the JP-2.
Let us know what you find.

ws7III with a TTR or AE 2035, hands down, the best pipe for this motor IMO.
I am picking up a used ws7II very soon, and I will be getting a Black HC AE 2035 for it

I have a Rb C6BB with a 2045 pipe and I also can't get the power i want. The engine seems like out of breathe with that pipe. Every other pipe i tried was by far better than the 2045 which everybody recommends so...
The best i tried concerning power was RB 2020 and this one is legal by EFRA, but now for long, because they are going to introduce some new pipes by may if y recall correctly and they will have a number 3xxx.

OK, I have a lot of RB's & the 2045 works great on them all but is best on the C6, If you guys are not happy with the 2045 on an RB I would suggest looking at your clutch set ups. On my C6 I use 1.1 springs w/carbon shoes or 1.0 springs with aluminuim shoe. The 2020 pipe does give more low end but fuel economy suffers. I still use the 2020 on the regular S7 & S5's because it brings out the beast in them but for the C6 the 2045 is the best. This is the first time I've heard someone who is unhappy with the 2045 on either a C6 or a Ws7.

The low end is good for me, I use werks clutch with the softest spring - i like less low end because then i can drive more consistent. The problem is high end power, i always get outrun by others and it doesn't have the feeling of resonance...
If i try to lean the engine for more power - temps get up and smoke is minimal.
Actually there also are some mixed opinions in rbproducts.com forums, some love the 2045, some hate it. Maybe there could be other problems, like fuel, plug and so on ? Btw, i run 16% nitro.

Thankyou for help.
I think that ws7 engine was so cold. His temperature was about 90-100c.When I press gas, the engine very hard smoked and later, after ~3-4s engine sort of revive...
I'll buy jp-3 pipe.
I'm sorry for spelling mistake I have problem with English language...
