Does anybody know anything about this? Is this the first year for it? If not, how was last years?

I heard that last years was great but a lot of people are complaining about the price of entry fees ($50 early entry per class with no break for the 2nd class)
I think the fees are pretty reasonable and we will be going. Some just don't think about the cost of renting the building along with heating the place. The only thing I would like to see is 45 minute Expert "A" mains instead of 30 minute ones they have listed on the flier.

As you probably noticed, it will be held in the Earlywine's indoor motocross track. The track is located just outside of Maysville KY. I did't make it last year but will be there this year. I really do not mind the entry fee. I wish I was fast enough to make a 30 minute main. lol.

$50.00 is high, then no break for additional classes makes it ridiclous. I'm sure Earlywines charge the host club something, but not enough to justify 50.00 an entry. As far as the cost to heat the building....well lets just say....there is none. It was 25 degrees inside the place last year. If you plan on going, take a bunch of warm clothes, a pop-up with sides on it, and most importantly.....a good heater. For more info, go here.... http://www.dcrcr.com/

I don't know that $50 is that bad. CRCRC was $65 per entry. This track is bigger and does not get as smoky. It is more like outdoor racing. Last year it was cold but the race was the first weekend in March instead of the last weekend in March. I also forgot to mention that last year the practice day was 60F outside and in the building so I would expect at least 50F or warmer this year.

Not sure its worth going for 50 bucks. Three rounds of qualifying, 5 min each and only a 30 min "A" main. CRCRC had 4 rounds at 7 min and a 45 min "A" main if I remember right.

Your chances of making the A at this race are probably a lot better than CRCRC though.

It's not like this is a cheap hobby. Club racing is fun but it's not the same as going to a bigger event. If you wanna play you gotta pay. I know I'll be there.
