New Werks Clutch

Ok I have a V spec with a losi collet and a shim and losi clutch bell. I put the flywheel on and shoes and I put the bell on and the shaft seems too short. The bearing is higher then the shaft so I cant tighten the bell. I dont know what to do. Please help.

are you sure the flywheel is tighten all the way down?

File the collet down flat on the larger side with a nice file, just enough to have the crank poking out a bit in front of the bell.

Just make sure when you re tighten the flywheel that it doesnt rub on the front of the engine block.

alternative is to use 3x5mm shims to space the screw clearance.

The collet that I use is already flush with the flywheel. I think the collet that I have maybe too small. Im going to get another one

Use the thick countersunk washer that comes with the losi clutch, it extends the crank.

Razzor and idawg were absolutely correct. Use the Losi counter sunk washer and then washers small enough to fit under the washer to fill the space between the crank shaft end the the clutch bell. Works great.
