Looking into replacing the stock engine in my Losi 8T. My budget is 200. What do you guys think about this engine?

i havent driven one but i have a buddy that runs that engine in his mugen mbx5t and he has 2 complaints..too much low end and not great run time (not awful).....i would figure with propper tuning and getting more used to it some of that will go away. i know several racers at that are very fast run dynamite engines 2-3 made it into the A at our last "big race" only thing is i cant say if they were 21's or 28's all i know is they were dynamite platinums

The Trinity Drake motors are absolutely insane!
A very good deal for less than $200 for sure!!!

The Dynamite Platinum .28 is a nice motor for the money too!

I used to run an Ofna Force .28 myself and was very impressed! Power and good fuel economy!
