Hobbytech Straight Factory V2
Well since the Caster guys kicked us out LOL of their thread i decided to create a thread for the car.
The car is designed in France and shares a lot of parts of the Mugen especially in the rear.
At the front the car uses C-hub instead of PBS.

With the above setup the car oversteers when exiting tight turns so i'll move to 5/7/1-2.
BUT it was accelerating very hard out of turns and it would jump fine.
The brakes seemed to be on the soft site but i haven't used the car a lot so the brakes might get better.
As far as durability is concerned... NO PROBLEMS at all and it took some hard hits.No play in the arms or hubs.
"poinas2" have you been using a 14T CB or a 13T?
With the 13T and the stock 44T spur it's impossible to set the mesh right.
The engine can not be pushed far enough to reach the spur correctly.

There is no problem my friend!!!!
The thing is that not many people own a Straight at the moment and getting info for it is a bit difficult.
I do hope that more people will join in and share their information. At this point though Caster (and maybe Mugen) are the only cars that can interchange a lot of parts and are based on the same design except of the front suspension therefore it's the only way of gathering info.

We've run 13T bell w/o any problems. In my opinion STR8 is very competent platform in pretty affordable price in Europe.
