i would say the LST2, i am not sure about the abuse but it has a lot more ground clearance and comes with bash oriented tires. i have the original lst and it is pretty durable after i put rpm arms on it, i also raced it for a season, a little too hard to work on to race weekly but in my opinion its a great bash vechicle.

Default LST2

I would also say the LST2 is a better basher. Better ground clearance, monster shocks, and monster tires. While it could be raced, it's primary purpose is as a monster truck.

The 8-T is more of a truggy...which is intended for racing, but could handle bashing if need be.
