Well the TKO Balloon boots worked like a charm on the 808 Shock(s) I ran 3-4 tanks during the practice, with 3 heats and a main last Saturday night. Sunday while I was cleaning and inspecting it for any damage or wear, I found a couple small pin holes in 3 of the 4 balloon. Probably could go 2 races on a set, but probably be best to replace every race. At least till X-Ray comes out with a shock nut and boot that will fit the 808 shocks..

Call RC America (US Distributor) and ask for a dealer list that ordered larger quantities.

Start calling......

Djballen wins the prize for reading the paper that comes with the kit, if your dealer cared to give it to you that is....

But yeup, just pop that seal off and loosen the screws a hair and ur good.

Sorry if I offend a dealer that has one and reads this, but heck, they can post in here just as easily as I can...

I heard www.ashfordhobby.com has one left today, but I don't know if it's sold yet. Try www.stormerhobbies.com for those of you don't know, they are huge on-road dealer, but they're now stocking the 1/8th offroad parts. Another dealer that /may/ have one hiding in the back is www.nexusracing.com.

I know some of the bigger on-road dealers/e-shops have ordered some of the 808's so try searching for them.

If all of this fails, (and ebay) check the XRAY dealer locator:
http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/other/worlddeal.php

Hope this helps!

I drove the 808 again today for the second time...this time it was very good. Same as powerlink, I am looking to get rid of the off power push that it has so that I can roll through the corners more, but damn I had a blast with it. Maybe I will just keep it...

That is true! No worries on any flooding.

Mud guards would be nice to have in those sticky situations.
