Thanks
Also I think the 2008 had a shorter chassis compared to the longer 2010 and beyond model, which would also contribute to that.

The 08 / 09 cars still handled really well. I was racing my 08 (upgraded to 09) up until last weekend. If the rear is loose, try running the rear camberlink on the very bottom hole of the shock tower. This will tighten the rear up considerably.
Check out the set up I posted for last Sunday a page or two back. This is what I ran on my 08/09 car for the last two years on various tracks, and it was sweet.

Hello people,

just wanted to ask if you could post pictures of your XB808 so I can get some help with sorting out the car (fuel lines, filters, switching on electrics etc etc). My car is a mess

Also any tips that will make my life easier at races. I open the receiver box plug in the battery and close it again which is a pain

Thanks.

Pretty sure that's cause Josh Wheeler runs mp9 shocks for the added droop on his xray

I make up a battery lead from the RX with a futaba plug for the RX end and a tamiya plug on the other end. Then all my RX batteres have a tamiya plug fitted.Route these and get the wire lengths right so there isn't loadsa extra everywhere then a bit of velcro glued to the top of the radio box and the tamiya connectors have a nice flat side profile that takes a bit of velcro equally well..then you can pull the connectors apart easily without ever opening the radio box,the velcro holds them fine whilst connected. DO solder the wires into the pins DON"T just crimp them..losing a wire is a pisser of a way to DNF..I've NEVER lost a connection with a tamiya plug or had one come apart in any way..can post a pic if this isn't clear enough.

I use a switch with a charge cable. Very easy to charge the RX battery. Switches are great during practise and qualifications. When I race finals, I plug the battery cable directly into the reciever to prevent switch-failure.
