I just decided to stay in my comfort zone with what I know works for me. Boring eh
Driving style plays a huge roll in it all. I am not a fast driver by any means. I have trouble sticking to the fast line and I am WOT everywhere I can be and then roll the turns off power. For me the Agama turns in and out perfectly for my driving. The Xray only came close with a front active diff and even then it would push if I got on the gas to soon. Track surfaces between where I race and where you race may also play a huge roll in the cars handling. I miss the indistructability of the XRAY though. I should have have been the spokesman for XRAY for 2 years. If they would have video taped me crashing every race and still finishing races, I think everyone would be driving an 808 right now

I use to feel that way with the 2010 drivetrain setup, once I modded with traditional pinion/driveshaft with grub screw, cornerspeed was increased and the car felt different and faster around turns off power.

So, patiently waiting for my 11, my 10spec is being inherited by my son. What is a good beginner setup in terms of diffs? He has driven my setup and it is waaaay too aggressive for him

Just try box stock 5-7-2 or maybe 5-5-2. That will be okay.

Is anyone else having issues with breaking the little pin that holds the outdrives into the diff cup, it seems that with the 10 model and now the 11 model car that pretty much everytime i pull a diff down the pin is broken into 3 pieces. I have driven the 808 since the beginning 08 and bought 2 kits every year since had never seen this until middle last year.

Only had that happen to me once, and that was with my 09. So that pin would have been the original 08 pin before I upgraded. Nothing that would have been produced in the last 18 months.

I've run my '09 808 today after a loooong time(10 months aprox.), almost forgot how good this thing is, love it!
I'm all focused on the Durango now, but i think i'll give the '11 a try in a couple of months...Looking forward to read some feedback.

I actually broke 2 of those pins in the first two weeks that I had my '10 car but never had a problem after that.

What mod is this? I have a 2010 and have zero issues with it. What mod are you referring to? I'm not sure what they improved on. I can't find anything wrong with this one. Is there a week spot I should pay attention to?
