Well My first race day is done and the 808 survived my test of fire without so much as a loose screw . My only complaint was the buggy is so light that when a wind gust came by while I was hitting a jump it tossed my buggy sideways hehe. I had one of the lower shock clips pop out of position, but it stayed on and I fixed it after the race. I also had one tire come unglued, but thats my fault.

I had fun, I didnt do very well, but I had fun.

I had mine out today for the first time , I liked the way it jumped ,stayed straight and balanced all day long, very consistent Off power steering pushed allot more than I would like ,however I think I can change the setup to fix that.On power out of corners was dialed in. It accelerate's like there is no tomorrow + .The drivetrain was the smoothest and most balanced I have ever felt. The brakes are great . Nothing broken , very happy

I am using the Team L-si wheel right now ,they are a little bigger in diameter .MY proline wheels work good to ,however they scrub the steering turn buckle screw end ,that connect's to the steering knuckle . I found plastic shavings in this area , also scrub marks in the wheel it self.

No... I was with the family today. But several of my buddys did. Great track(Layout) and fun times from what I heard. One of my buddys, Raymond (X-Ray Driver) qualifed 6th in Pro-Buggy with his 808, his second time out with it, against all those other top US drivers. Mains are tomorrow. Hopefully he has a good day.

My 808 pushes in the corners, need more off-power,but don't want to loose much on-power. Changing the ride-hight in front and rear doesn't seem to help....what can I try now.

I tried a little more rear brake bias ,It helped , I was finding that I had to tap the brake off power just a hair to get to rotate and settle in .Im in the same boat .Any other Ideas out there?

This podium comes only a week after I got the car, wait until I get it dialed! OMG! Actually Jimmy beat me but it shows him in third behind me.. thats a mistake. But I'll take third the first time out any day!
