I used the same parts. Take your time with the rear brace. You will have to dremel alot off of it

Or you can buy the cheaper fioroni rear brace and it should clear. You can also take a chance with the plastic one. Sounds wierd saying cheaper and fioroni in the same sentence.

Iím waiting to see if 2011 upgrade will address the bearing issue. Iím not really a fan of doing this major mod, but thatís just me. And if not I will be looking for another buggy.

How did it start shipping in November when it was announced in February?

Car should be announced at the Nuremburg Toy Show in Germany from February 3-8. Hopefully the first shipment will be out by the middle to end of February. If I had to guess though, you won't see it until the beginning of March.

Thanks guys for the info. I was told from xray that the new car will be completely redesigned. New drive train, radio tray, shocks, rear arms and hubs, caster blocks, hubs, and chassis. But new car wouldn't be available for 3-5 months. That's what I heard so far.

february march 2011 should be good

this is a quote from a team driver on xray forum:
Quote:When & where only xray will release that & with all its glamour & more. As for parts there has recently been many pictures of various proto type parts being tested by the team, it all takes time to colate the information to make sure its right in all aspect. All parts have showed great promise in the areas aimed at & with a drive train that hits the spot it will not dissapoint! stop quote:

I wonder if they would be willing to go down the path of the mp9tki2 and have it all cnc upgraded, or even have it as an option buggy, you can buy the basic setup buggy or you can get the full race spec buggy with all the cnc upgrades?? I know just how expensive it is to buy all those option parts seperately

Why would you want the CNC? The carbon fiber works great. Knock on wood and its lighter.

+1, ive got 2 xray 808 2010 models..1 with all the cnc upgrades and the other totally stock, and i have to say the stock one is sooo much easier to drive, the cnc parts make the car too stiff IMO..

On another subject, i cant work out what all the fuss is with the bulkhead bearings, just maintain them like they should be done and they will never let you down.
