Ive had a few small issues nothing to worry be though. First off the rear hinge pins went in a bit hard had to push the arm at an angle to get it in, but the rotate fine so im bot worried. Second bit I did have a tight universal on one side. It loosened up after I worked it for a bit so probably just a small burr.

Another thing I noted is the intructions have a few typos Like one I seen stated to use a 20mm long screw when in reality is was only like a 12mm long screw. Saw a couple like this the pictures helped though .

I also didnt find any need to shim the diffs the play is just right if you ask me and if they do loosen up after break in I can always add a shim then.

Im about 50% done now.

What tires did you weight it with & foams & wheels & pipe...? It can be quite a difference there - like a JP4 (110 g) system vs a Sirio 2013/2057/2056 (76 g) is about 34 gram difference.

i dont think so without some modifieng of the body we put my losi body on my buddys 808 and the 808 is a little widder then the losi and the motor sits just a hair back than the losi wich didnt effect it from fitting the losi is just thinner so you would have to do some moding to any body made for a losi to fit onto the 808..

My body that was in the pic, with stickers, shoe-goo, RTR weighs 86g.

I'm running all KO radio gear, OS 2050 pipe and header with that Max M5 B.

Losi8ight - I think somebody was running that body on their 808, it should fit...

I don't know if it's worth all the fuss for just a few grams. Can anyone show factually that such a menial amount of weight has a significant impact in perfrmance or run time?

Ok well im about 80% through the build now only things left is to put electronics in and radio tray.

I had a few other small issues. First issue I had a RHCS bolt with a crushed hex in it, not really Xrays fault, just stuck a SHCS in its place. They supplied the wrong size bolt for one of the mounting holes for the bottom of my center diff mount, the spare parts bag solved this issue. and one other issue the pipe hanger was too large in diameter for my dynamite 086 pipe so I just ground down the end to fit inside the hole.

Did anyone install the pipe protector? I did, but thought it was kinds goofy to be cutting holes in the side protector for it, but no biggy.

Rocco, with your recommended droop settings, (103, 113mm) it seems as if there is very little droop at all. I see that the STOCK setup sheet has -2 on it which would imply that the droop is 2mm below ride height. This seems abnormally high. Is this correct?

shoo goo bonds just about everything to just about anything. Its used to fix lexan bodies and glue together batteries for electric cars among other things
