Isnt there only one truggy model of the current platform. I was looking at getting an XT8 (in no hurry though) So if they will have a 808T in the next 6 months i can sit idle and continue to wait.

I know its not really on topic of the buggy discussion but i am a very laid back now and then nitro racer. And truggy catches my interest more. The current XT with the smalelr bore shocks, and clips instead of threaded bodies is a big turn off. This 808 platform looks good.

Alot of people here locally say Xray is better quality, losi handles better but wears out. Hopefully this will change alot of minds.

Ehhhh.. still happy enough with my BCE jammin. But when/if this goes to truggy platform. I think it would get me over the fence to go X-ray.

Nice looking buggy, with a few neat designs in it. But to me, it looks very close to the Losi in design. Should be a fast buggy then...

They should call it the 808IGHT......

ezveedub - I assure you everything is and will always be made in house, in Slovakia. In fact the only main component of a car that is outsourced is the Micro Nitro Engines which are outsourced to Japan, not even China.

I read on either rcAmerica, or neobuggy.net that it will be released late March, or Early April. I'm already trying to siphon some money from my Tax return to get this buggy.

Default pinion spur angle

I read on another forum that the 808 was viewed with a strange angle between the spur and pinion gear to accommodate the the angle of the drive shafts. This was viewed at the Germen toy fair, I cannot determine if this is true from any of the pics. The motor mounts look to present the motor to the spur in a parallel fashion but maybe not. Anyone here or see this claim?

will Xray parts still be the most expensive in the business? Could they possibly lower prices on spares?
