I am getting more and more stoked waiting for this buggy! I hope the manual is uploaded soon.

Manual would be nice as I'd like to make a note of some part numbers as spares, growing ever excited for this now

I've learned a while ago, when I buy (Or plan too buy) a new buggy I just buy two of them. That way I have all the spare parts I need for some time. And just stock up on the few extras. Much cheaper then buying parts one or two at a time in the long run...

This is what I have done in the past, big initial investment, but you always have every part, then you just replace them as you use them and sell the kit as new when you're done... Smart man, haha.

I work in the trade and even I can't afford to buy two kits, but I would like to get some spares as looking at the car I don't think its going to be as bullet proof as my Hyper8.5, BUT I am hopeing to be prooved wrong.

You ever own an XRAY? I still have some of the parts I bought for the car when it came out almost 4 years ago. I started needlessly replacing them just so I could feel like I got my money out of them...

I hope they are as tough as you say I know that XRAY make great quality but the cars only as good as the person doing the work on it If you don't do the work it will catch up to you eventually
I have owned Hypers for a few years now and put the work in and have had very little go wrong with it . If i have had a failure it was due to my own work not the car
The XRAY 808 will move me up a few places in the order

I've not ran an Xray myself, but I have built up about 5 or 6 Xray kits now for customers and the quality is supremely good, better than anything else on the market for sure. My criticsm is that the new 808 doesn't look quite as burly as the XB8, and with my driving I am likely to break it - BUT I've not even seen one in the flesh yet and I am hopeing to be prooved wrong, never the less I'm going to break something at some point so I will need spares

Ummmmmm

It's April..........

Man the waiting thing is killin' me!

I would agree with the above posts on Xray quality. I have the first gen XB8 I upgraded to the TQ arms and arm mounts and I still have the spare arms I bought what two season ago now?! And I race indoor in the winter too! (not so much any more but I did a lot of indoor with this car)

Can't wait for the 808. I am a little leary of the CF front tower and ackerman plate but I know Xray CF is really nice stuff. Seal the edges and give 'er heck is my plan!

Oh man I've cratered my 808 a couple times already, crashes that take so much time you close your eyes and hope for the best, haha, and nothing yet! Cartwheeling 1/3 the way down the back straight after locking wheels, nope, nothing! haha
