I don't think $600.00 is pricey for a top quality buggy like X-Ray/Hudy. The Kyosho MP777 is going for $600.00 now, was more when it first came out. And the Mugen MBX5R is now going for $589.99 too. With the dollar so piss poor against the Euro, I would think it would of been more actually. If the dollar was 1:1 to the Euro I think it would of been closer to the $500.00 range. But what is $100.00 more for a buggy, hell I spent $500.00+ just to go to the Nitro Challenge to have bad luck...

Xray is from the Czech Republic or Slovenia (one of the eastern bloc countries) are they part of the EU and use the Euro? If not then it might not be bad for them. They'll price it to be competitive in the US market even if it means losing some profit compared to the European market.

The former eastern bloc countries of Slovenia and the Czech Republic are part of the EU. Slovenia in particular has done very well economically following the breakup of Yugoslavia but the Czech Republic has been no slouch either.

Have fun with that!

Not a fan of the condoms...

...on the shocks... Just keep an eye on that felt washer and outer plastic shock bushing.

Xray is actually Slovakian, and they are part of the EU. When I went over there, back in high school, the dollar was ROCKIN' and bought all kinds of crystal, as they are known for crystal, rc cars and springs steel, haha!

Yeah, I just looked at the full season schedule and matched it up to the Roar nats schedules.. only one that didn't screw me was Fuel Sedan.. you should dust off your car and go to that one too lol.. Its right in your back yard.. texas... florida.. your half way there lol. Its all good tho, I hate rubber tire racing.. you have to glue tires lmao. onroad spec tires for electric are a godsend lol.. Nitro and foam or go home..

Rocco

Seriously tho, do you go crazy with inserts much? Foam inserts for the tires.. I am done with the condom jokes for now.. or can I rock the premount buggy tires and expect them to stick?

Steve, yeah... i know for a fact that the XRAY with worth every penny quality wise and you give great examples with the 777 and MBX5r and thats why i dont have one of those either. Im sure they will sell plenty but although i really wanted one I couldn't justify the cost. But anyone that really knows me knows im the cheapest human on earth on certain things.
