Do you guys run your buggies with CVD boots/condoms? I run them basically just to keep the joints clean and dust free . The 808's new CVD design seem incompatible with those things

I use Odonnel wax lube.. no condoms!.. and it works well to seal dirt out yet keep a good lube into the cvd..

Id rather be too planted and dial it out than to drive a lazy turd and cant dial it in One word describes it EXPLOSIVE I am amazed how hard this car accelerates! Wow...throw out everything you ever knew about the XB8 lineup very excited over here right now

O'donnel wax lubricant? Sounds like White Lightening that we use on mountain bike chains... If I do run lube, I LIGHTLY lube the joint with some synthetic oil, so the more it heats up, the stronger it bonds to the surfaces.

Why not just buy a 808 and get all the X-Ray/Hudy steel and plastic. That way you'll have a buggy that won't wear out so fast.

They won't. The gear cases/bearing sizes are completely different. Maybe the xb8/TQ/EC stuff would work if it's the right length...
