That's right. Our last 808 Active Diff is gone. I only announced their availability on this thread and on Twitter. They went fast. Maybe Rocco will let us all know when RC America gets another shipment of them from Europe.

Yes to running 4wd mod, and no, I don't run it any longer. I had a XX4 WE that had the "clicker" locked up. (So total 4wd) I will be running at Mikes in a month or so, but will be running 2wd mod. I feel it helps my nitro racing, oddly though, nitro hurt my electric racing.

Off topic but JCG is closing? When is this to happen?

I just picked up a 4WD today, and I should be on the track with it in a couple weeks.

You can tell that Jake doesn't want to be there, and if you check out their webpage:

I wouldn't sell something I want to keep...

I'm surprised he kept it open to this point this year.

Are you sick of getting dirt in your shocks? I ran this easy mod all summer, you will love it no more dirt and the boots fit great.

#1 Take the shock shaft cap with a 4mm bolt and nut thur bolt it and chuck
it up in a drill .With a dremel and sanding roll both spinning grind off of
the body side until the cap measures .320 in length.

#2 Clean and screw on the cap on ,slide a Losi 8 boot on and you are done.

#3 You don't need to use the cap o'ring or the felt for smoother shaft
movement.

Since Xray just released a new tank for the 808, is it possible it is trying to fix a problem with the old tank??

Reason i ask is yesterday, myself and the other 808 driver were having constant flame out issues. First time i have had this issue. He was running an RB C6bb, and i was running a GRP .21. I even went as far as having Truhe try to tune the motor thinking that was the issue. But he suspected it to be a fuel system issue.

Their isnt any issue with the old tank. Its the same tank the XB8EC has been useing for a couple of years. The new tank is just bigger.

Anyone have a part number for the new fuel tank? I want it just because the fuel line clips screw down. I cant get my clips to stay at all, no matter what I do. I tried 3 different kinds of glue, sanded tank, sanded clips. Nothing works. I want the new tank with screw holes!!!!

Can you post a pic?

I bought this tank but the fuel outlet in the front clashes with the steering bellcrank and pipe mount.

Default Race results Round 2 of AZ Championship Series

Hey all, Just wanted to post my second ever race with the new 808. Round 2 of the AZ Championship series was Saturday in Tucson.

I qualified first in my first round, I qualified first in my second round. finished with the TQ spot out of 38 Novice racers.

The A-main was a different story. My driving sucked, I flipped and crashed about 10 times. The more I tried to make up for my lost time, the more I crashed, started cutting the corners too sharp, and too fast and traction rolling all over the place. Hit a freaking Pole! off one of the jumps, and got stuck behind it. Finished 5th after TQ, I was very disappointed with that. On a brighter side I finished 7th the first race so I guess I'm getting better. The buggy is amazing, my driving.....not so much. Round 3 is December 20th back at my home track (Nitro Pit) I'm looking forward to putting on an 808 show that day....more to come
