Writing ± $600 is incorrect, which is what I was getting at. That is saying the variation in price is plus or minus $600 but without a reference point. Instead its more likely the price is $600 ± $50.

It seems like the most popular are the mugen type of boxes. But since the Losi box is a universal box, yes it should fit..... I personally used the blue ofna's.

It should be here within the first couple weeks of April, and in the shops the following week.

If a Losi would fit the pegs on this box, then just use a Losi box, haha!

For the EC and XT8, I use the OFNA Truggy box pictured above, with the TKO starter box plate. It fits both vehicles, and makes starting almost foolproof.

Hopefully the 808 will fit, too.

Guys, regarding Xray's Active Diffs, will they be included in the mass produced (release version) 808?

Thanks for pointing that out I certainly hope that when the 808s are released people who drive them won't feel they're treated as Beta testers...I felt this when I was with another brand

A Main no longer list the EC with the rest of their 1/8 buggy kits/rollers. Does this mean the EC is no longer being sold or rather withdrawn from sale due to the new 808? If so I'm guessing we haven't too much longer to wait..........

Purely speculation but C'MON already !!!!!

I noticed that also. I think A-Main did the same thing to the TQ when the EC came out. Mario mentioned that the release date will be sometime this coming week.

The Active Diff, will not come in the 808, but from what I've hear, the Pro's are not running it either...

Default XRAY Model Staying Power?

I've been looking around at which 1/8 buggy to get and this new XRAY offering definitely looks like it could be a contender (along with the Losi 8ight) for my money. However, there have been some comments in this thread as to XRAY coming out with new models on a fairly regular basis. How long was their last offering out before they came up with the 808? I don't want to drop $600 on a car and then have it and parts support dry up in 2 years!
