Did Don Go Xray also! I love it! I sent him a PM, but he didn't reply. Man he was so in love with mine and it was stock set-up! I'm glad he switched just so I dont have to see that butt ugly Grey lid on his Losi anymore!, lol

Cant make it this Friday, have Family coming, but I am all over it next weekend. I think I will be there Friday for Practice and Saturday for races. Hit me back about what set-up you like.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question. Do you mean, how you get the pin out? Or?!

He means can you change the pins without spending $100 on the tool? I would like to know myself.

A chain break may work. I'll take mine to work tomorrow and see.

This is when you beg your hobby shop to order one and charge people to do it for them. Or heck, you could do the same thing. This is one good thing about tools (especially good ones) you just have to buy them one time.

Man I was thinking the same thing. Do you think Steve at Indy or Jerold (I think is his name) at JCG's would do this?

Matt, John at The RC Shack has them too. $90 I think.

Just think of it this way. If you dont chage the pins you have to buy new cvd bones and all 6 on the buggy is $90+ also. So if you invest this time you get fresh bones cheap next time. (plus then I can borrow it from you. )

If you buy the tool I'll rent it from you for $10 for a weekend. I need to do the pins in the XT8 soon.

I just got the tool and its pretty nice
however before I got the tool (becasue it was backordered)
I used a block of aluminum with a 4mm hole drilled in it and a 3 inch C-clamp
and once the pin is flush with the shaft then use the new pin to finish pushing the old one out and isntall the new one where it goes.
it one way anyway
thanks

Well I don't need it yet but I just like to have what I need in my box. I'm impatient that way. I have an idea I'm gonna try before I spend the hundo. I can appreciate the cost to design the tool though.

You know how bad the hobby shops are around us, haha!

Next time you see me at a race, bring some pins up and we can use my tool (the Hudy one, you pervs...).

I'm going to try to run at JCG every weekend until the Pro Finals.

My MX chain break was $60 or so. I'd personally go the extra $30. Heck you already have thousands invested in the hobby!

I haven't met you yet, I just moved here from Denver. I can't make it to the finals, well saterday I will. I just sold my Losi and will be getting a 808 soon, so I started to pay attention to this thread. I'll be out at JCG's and Indy soon enough, well not soon enough for me. I'll introduce myself the next time I see you. You can't miss me, I'm the one handed mexican..
