For me, I dissasemble my entire car after a weekend of running. I look at it this way:

Dissassembling an entire car;

-Allows me to thoroughly inspect all parts for wear, bending, breaks/cracks
-I need to re-do diffs anyways
-I need to redo, or atleast check shocks anyways
-Get everything, TRULY clean
-Allows inspection of bearings, and ability to keep them fresh preventing premature wear

And for me, building kits and tinkering is half, if not more of the fun, so dissassemblign the car is like building a new kit all over again
Hey Rocco, I'm one of those bad guys! I simple green the hell out of my parts, but Only after I have dissassembled the entire car! I separate the bearings from the car, and clean them first. Basically if it's metal, It comes out and cleaned with another solvent.

I just finished going over my entire car and replacing all the worn out plastic pieces! about 60 bucks for the whole car!

I have a ritual that works good for me.car sits till mondat at work.Car gets blown off, then eng/pipe removed, then run under big sink at work with water running gently, then dig out dirt from bolt heads dab with paint brush, then water again, then blow dry, then soak in WD, then blow dry.During the day if time permits or that night it come largly apart.I can tell you this much water gets everywhere no matter how carefull,bolt threads will rust under nylock nuts,get inside diff housing & cv joint & all the way through hinge pins & turn everything in there to a nasty gunk that usualy must be scraped off the pin.

I agree with rocco its not a good idea to use water even with heavy dissasembly.I do it for ease of maint but do pay the price at times.BTW I have never found a way around building up that gunk on the hinge pins reguardless of cleaning/lubing style I think its just one of those things.I like the post above enjoy working on my car a lot,I seem to crash less & finish better when working on the car than I do when driving

Most important is never ever blow air at the bearings,even if they look clean,ever.

I was at round 3 of qualifying and Wheeler was real strong. He had TQ until Truhe got it on the last race. I didn't get a chance to watch JQ. Juraj Hudy was pretty funny as a turn marshall.

Everything about the 808 is amazing. First thing I noticed when I opened the box was that it SMELLS like higher quality that what I'm used to.

Haha, it is going out in the morning!

The roof flames will only need to be cut off a little, I made sure there would be plenty of flames left after mounting!
I figure you'll post a pic or email me one, after mounting it?

Saved me an email that it was going in the mail too, thanks!!!
