Also, if you use simple green to degrease your car, make sure none of it gets in your bearings, that creates a bad situation inside your bearings.

COOL, I'LL TRY IT....DO YOU FIND THAT YOU NEED TO DISASSEMBLE MORE OFTEN?, AND ALSO , DO YOU OIL ALL YOUR WHEEL/DRIVETRAIN BEARINGS WITH MOTOR OIL?

For the money though the little Ofna 053 is the best bang for the buck. It really just depends on the tracks your running on. Hope this helps you out
I guess you are right about the track. We all need the pipe that best suits our tracks. I know the JP-3 is a good pipe choice, but nobody has it coupled to a Ninja. I figured with the thousands of people here someone must be running that combo, but I should probably post in the engine pounge. Thanks for your reply

Guys what is the consensus if running great aftermarket bearings like Avids .
Do you still remove the seal on the Avids for the pinion bearing like is recommended to do with the stock bearings on the Xray site .

I would still treat Avids the same. I run Avids and they are great. But honestly the 808 stock bearings are better. Cost more too though.

Who are you guys sending your lids out to for painting. I suck at it, and I usually use internal graphix and a can or 2 of paint, but I want a nice paint job for my new 808

Hey Jaz240. Try my painter. It's XXXL Graphics. He starts at about 40.00. You provide the body. P.M. me if you want his number. I can also post some pics of mine if you want.

The old price for the XRAY 808 was $600 so I doubt you will find a better price than that. We have already increased our price but I see A Main Hobbies and Stormer Hobbies are still advertising the old price. Stormer Hobbies is out of stock but A Main displays that have 808 kits in stock. Grab one.

Default Kits

There is a great little shop in Edmonton Alberta Canada, selling 808 kits for $577 Canadian. Shipping cost isn't to bad between Canada and the US.

You can find them at thehobbyroom.ca

Great service and great selection of parts!!!

The only problem I see with Xray products at the current time is R/C America.

You would almost have to post pics of the engine so we can see what the case looks like. I think thoes are Sirio based, but I could be way off on that guess...
