Default JR Racing Servo

Guys, considering upgrading to the JR Racing 9100 series (T/S) servos. What are your thoughts about these servos for a 1/8 buggy? What is the most popular combination to use on steering and throttle?

They are amazing servos. Personally I would throw in the 9100s for both duties in a buggy, and the S has more than enough torque for a buggy. Currently I run the BL451s which has quite a bit less torque @147oz/in vs the 9100S @ 180oz/in. Even with less torque that my servo has, its still just a tad more than one needs in a buggy steering application. Personally the T is too slow for steering in a buggy @ .15 second transit time.

Still trying to get that reaction time for the "whoops" section Pete? Use the the T on steering and S on throttle. Other option is the Futaba BLS451 on throttle. Not as quick, but still fast and is brushless, so it should last longer.
