What to do with pull start...using box

My brother just bought a new Ofna 1/8 buggy with the pull start. He just got a starter box to use....do you have to do anything with the pull start to use the starter box?

depending on how far down the flywheel sits in the chassis, possibly nothing, other wise he will need to take the pull start off and put a normal back plate on, new flywheel and motor mounts.

I used to have an OS 21 VG with a pullstart, then I got a starter box and I bought the backplate for the VG but I did not have to change anything else.

He wont have to do anything as long as the flywheel hits the wheel on the bump box (which I'm sure it does) You can't hurt it by starting it with a bump box and sometimes having a yank cord comes in handy.

Yea, as long as the one-way bearing in the pullstart never locks up, it shouldn't be a problem?
