I have a 3500mah 3s lipo in my M8. The voltage is not a problem (nimh voltage is higher off the charger)

The only "problem" is what will happen to your lipo if you accidentally leave the radio on....

Thumbs up dont worry

i also have a 3 cell lipo pack in my futaba 2.4 3pm and have had no issue. i dont see where there should be a concern because if you put in 8 fresh alkalines its a little over 12 volts and 3 lipos charged and topped off correctly are 12.6 volts.

mine lasts weeks on one charge and it makes the radio lighter.

How come these lipos do not have a default voltage shut off internally in the batteries? So, now you do have to worry about not leaving your Transmitter on, right?
