2008 Silver State Nitro Challenge
Schedule of events

Wednesday
Set-up, check-in, Technical inspection
1:00pm 1- full round of practice

Thursday
7:00am
2 Full rounds of practice
1 Baja Practice after first round

Friday
7:00am Drivers Meeting
7:30am 3 rounds of Truggy Qualifying
2 Baja Mains in-between Rounds

Saturday
7:00am 3 rounds of Buggy Qualifying
2 Baja Mains in-between Rounds

Sunday
7:00am Moto Order
All Mains Buggy Moto 1(25min)
1:00pm Media hour Truggy Moto 1 (25min)
Baja Final Main (20min)
Buggy Moto 2 (25min)
Truggy Moto 2 (25min)

is qual 7 min or 10 min
is it best 2 out of 3 or qual points for all 3 rounds or what format

Introductions
Jimmy Babcock- Race Director/Announcer
Regan Leblanc – Technical Inspector/Referee
Heather Guerzon – Technical Inspector

Rules
3 rounds of Qualifying 2 out of 3 count, Points per round
10 minutes long
Assigned Spots on the drivers Stand. Will rotate each round, Pit guy
must be in that same spot. If a spot is open, do not go to it. Round
will be DQ’d if you are not in the correct spot. For the mains, you
will pick your spot by how you qualify, for all mains.
No cutting the Track on the First lap. 1 lap Penalty, No warnings.
Fuel guns provided by Team Losi will stay in pit Lane, Rinse them out
and use them.
Cars go straight to Tech after each heat.
Drivers go straight from the Stand to turn marshal, if you are not on
the track by time the first car has completed one lap of warm up, you
will get a 1 lap penalty from your best round. If you do it again,
goes from your 2nd best round. No warnings.

Pitting
Your Pitguy Must be in the same spot as you are on the drivers stand.
You must pit in that spot.
Mechanic is not allowed on the Track, if your car flames out, Turn
Marshalls will get it to the outside of the track.
Cars must be fueled on the pit wall.
Pit guys must look for oncoming traffic in pit lane, if someone else
is coming down pit lane, you must wait for them to pass before putting
the car down.

It is unclear to me has anyone ran on the new dirt yet. If so what are the fastest tire choices for the losi buggy and truggy's? Last year it was holeshots for truggy and M3 bowfighter for buggy.

ya i moved to phoenix and the racing is great out here i have been traveling to alot of races too silverstate is one of them on my list are you gonna make it out here for truck nats
