Thumbs up

That sounds like fun. My wife acceptance factor might get in the way though. Prob not until spring when I can come with some buddies.

Having the Ice Breaker at Indy this year in late Jan. Anyone comming up for some indoor action. At least there, I know it won't be 40 mph winds at 32 degrees. One year you could not jump a 12 ft double because the wind would blow you off the track. The following year there were 15 ft rooster tails comming off the car with the rain pooring down. Looking forward to some indoor racing that will certainly be a good event.

PM for info.

Very nice looking track. This is the time of year to be racing outside in Houston, too. I'm jealous!

The track could use another foot of lane width in some sections, from the looks of it.

Default Nice shooting

I love that track but its hard to shoot good video in there. The sides being open really screws with the camera exposure settings. I'm going to try and get down there for the last HARC race. Your video looks good but it looks like your capture device is dropping some frames. Are you using USB? If so thats the problem. Firewire is the only way to go to capture full DV bandwidth. USB just can't cut it. Firewire cards are cheap. If your cam has firewire use that and you'll be much happier with the results. I can't wait to get my rig down there. That mic I have now will pick up everything and the roof makes everything louder there.

yeah Griz,
im using firewire... i saw that it was dropping frames on capture but i was ok with it since i was just throwing it up online. I didnt put much time or effort into it. about 10 minutes is all i gave it.
