Default RB engines thread

hi all, I couldn't find an RB thread so I thought I'd start one. If there is already one around please link me

anyway, I've just broken in my S7 & I'm looking forward to tuning it properly at the track tomorrow. A quick question though, do people using this engine use the venturi? The engine came without one, but the guy I bought it NIP off included the 7mm venturi, should I use it?

all it does is restrict the air so you can in turn use less fuel. you will lose power with a restrictor but in most cases you have to much power anyway

Run it with the restrictor. Learn the motor . Later when you are racing, go to a 9mm venturi. The S7 will scream!

btw.
Oh yea, your DNA in white looks pretty good!

Actually, a smaller venturi gives a little bit better bottom, and less top, overall less power.
