Default Advice on an OS MAX .21 RG

I have an older OS MAX .21 RG I dropped it into our Losi 8 Buggy. Question is which pipe would be better suited for it a JP-1 or a JP-2?

Thanks,
Chuck

I used to run an 053 and have also run a jp-1 back in the day and it sreemed with either one but that was on a small tight technical track. The rg's seem to have a ton of bottom end grunt. You would probably be fine with either of the ones you listed depending on the track conditions.

i like the jp-2. better top end on an engine that lacks top end from the factory. And i run on a track with a mile long back straight, top end matters where i run...

Chuck67:

If your running on a track with about only 100-110' straight run a 13 tooth CB. If your running on a track with a longer straight then use a 14 tooth CB.
Also run either aluminum or carbon shoes with 1.0springs.

The only pipe to use is a Nova 086 with a regular header!

With these combos you can run with anything out there.
