as long as it is a novarossi engine ,(p.s. dont get a plus2 367 right now) you should be good !!! personally i would buy either a plus 21-5k or a plus 21-7bt depending on the size of the track !!1 later, monty

Who cares?

It's more about driving, set-up, and tuning than anything else.

Like asking what kind of servos... as long as they are quality!

Get a descent quality engine, and get it properly sealed and tuned.

I just have a RB S7 in my 8ight. Unmodified even, got off Ebay used.

Won me my state champs race.

I run a Werks B7 Pro with a 5.5 restrictor and a JP-1 pipe (yes, sounds like an odd combination, but can get 9 minutes on a tank and has more power than you can possibly need, and a very smooth, linear power curve.)

I figured there would have been 10 posts saying get a V-Spec. They are the best engines Ive owned. There are other great engines out there. But I pick the V-Spec as my favorite.

Any good motor from a quality mfg. will be great.
Just get a good pipe for it are you will be fine.

I run vspec's with os 2050's for the pipe
I like it.

Jammin JPX .21

One of the cheaper motors out there, and makes the same power as V-Specs/ninjas/werks etc. The last one i owned lasted over 10 gallons.
