Default Low compression in my engine

i have a .28 SH engine (off a himoto) and it doesnt have very much compression, is that because there is no pullstart on it (but there is a PS backplate). or is it because the very first time i started it, i had it at WOT, and the engine never really had a break in... i drove it, hard, the first night i got it

is there anything i can do to fix this?

The poor break in is probably why you have no compression but as long as your engine still runs good it should be fine for a little longer

yeah, break-in is esential for engine performance and durability, so you probably blew away some of both qualities.

Still, it's not all only about compresion. Hyper engines seem to have little compresion , but zoom down the track with the best.

Also, i was at a local race the other day and this guy had a Picco Evo2 motor. You could turn the flywheel with your hand (poor compresion??), plus her said he liked to run the low end needle a little ritch.
Performance? He ended up 2nd in the A final!! I assure you his motor kicked ass!!
