Drew, your fellow M1B drivers think your silly and they can't read either.

Yes, Drew locates the the pins in the slot first and while he's racing they make their way into the lightened area. Is this correct Drew?

Come back to Mugen.

Also, the diffs leak because of the grub screw used to "tension" the diff. Locktite it into position and diffs will stop leaking.

What do you mean by "longer adjusters for front upper arms"??

Andrew
A1: Yes, the UJ pin hangs out of the drive cup. A2: Thanks for the info on the grub screws, that makes sense I will give it a go. A3: What I mean by the longer adjuster is from the basic setup on the outside hole the adjuster stipped out of the A-arm. I assumed that if it had a longer adjustable rod I would be able to adjust it more. This was at a -2 deg. camber.

Questions?? K-factory

Has anyone tried the shorter k-factory arms? And what do you think of them?

Thats odd, I've got 2 deg camber on the front of my M1 and the end of UJ's don't hang out of the cups when the suspension is fully compressed.

Are you able to take a photo of the front of the car without the wheels on and post it here?

If you take a look at the photo I posted on page 1, you can see how much of the turnbuckle is exposed. Thats also with using the outside hole on the front upright (as per setup in the manual).

Great to see this thread started.
I hope "Turbo" owners continue to post improvements to their cars on here as I think this car has the potential to be very good !

I like the thought of the shorter K Factory arms. I think I will be trying them out.
How is everything else on the buggy going? Broken anything yet?

i tried the short arms and personally like the stock turbo arms better.
Just an overall more stable car in stock turbo form. IMO

Im going through my M1 getting it ready for the Pysco Nitro Challenge in Atlanta, GA

I finally had a chance to test my turbo on the track.
Well all I can say its a handfull. Very loose rear end. I ran the box setup and wasnt very impressed. Powering out of corners was loose. Seems to like off power steering more.

I ran 40wt front and rear shocks.
This is just too soft. I think its part of the reason the car seems to fishtail and loose.

I went 60wt front and rear. Also used 3hole piston in rear and 2 hole shock piston up front.
My theory is 3 hole on 60wt will be softer. The car feels better on the bench and the little testing in the backyard had the rear a lot better and the stiffer setup seems better.
I'll test it on the track over weekend and post my findings.
My diffs are 7-7-2.

if its still loose, try 5K in the center, maybe 3K in the rear
I also added a little weight to the rear as well.

definitely loose in the rear....

can you lower the rear link on the tower?

can you reduce rear kickup?
