Nitrohouse.com commented on the Ofna site that they are taking pre-orders for it and in another post commented that it was expected in April.

Actually, March/April is a more realistic target date. It definitely won't be out by Christmas.

I found this on the RC Car Action Web Site: In the interview they said they hope to have it out by the end of the year, but this was back at the ROAR 1/8 Truck Nationals

There is no way it will be here by the end of the year. Thats why Jammin released the X1X-CR and X1X-CRT so that they could say they realeased something new this year!

I spoke with the guys at Nitrohouse and they don't know exactly when but the impression that I got from asking this question was next year! Again I figure February or March.

Why I was asking is cause I currently have two CRT and And have tons of parts. but if it is cheaper said to buy a new one I just might sell them and start over. how many of the parts are going to be the same.

The "OFFICIAL WORD" on the X2 at the moment is that it will NOT be out untill some time early next year. Take it for what it's worth. We did just release the X1X.

I was mis-informed...I was told the new buggy/truggy was coming out around Christmas. What I wasn't told, is that the X1X is what's coming, NOT the X2 (which I'm now being told won't be around until early summer)...Sorry for getting it wrong...

All the "X-1X" kits, and RTR's are in stock now...

I've been told (don't hate me if I'm mis-informed again) that the FTE X-1X buggy will be coming with the spiral cut front and rear bevel gears, the 40625 (upside down servo saver), and the 16mm Super Big Bore shocks...

The truggy (so far as I've been told) is only coming with the 16mm Super Big Bore shocks...This can (and probably will) change down the road...

This is what I was told by Roger of ofna.

It depends on what you started with....The CRT RTR or the Pro..Obviously you will need less if you have the pro.

The basics to upgrade a CRT rtr or Pro:

Steering servo. High speed High torque
Hub carriers. Kingz heads, C-hub carriers
Big bore shocks and Springs.
Good set of tires. Boe ties, Crimefighters, etc.

I can go on, but these are just starter upgrades to be competitive.
