twin mp777 now even more power
decided to upgrade the twin mp777 the 2 rb c6 bb engines were great, but i just wanted more power
. it now has 2 x picco .28 team edition engines with ofna 086 pipes. the gearing at the moment is still the same 22t bells and 46t so top end is not going to be any different at the moment, but i will be trying to upgrade when the engines have been tested and set up.
here are a few pics of the progress so far. this time i have installed a pressure feed of the right engines pipe so i can run each engine idependently. plus if this works well it will allow me to use 2 seperate fuel tanks.

I have some advice for the Picco engines.... many of them suffer from an airleak between the carb body and metal end bell. just like the Go engines did.... I strongly suggest everyone seal their Picco's this way...
I have found with dozens of these motors that they respond very well to this sealing..the tuning becomes much easier and the motor no longer requires such a hot plug to run well.... As well the motor will be much less likely to want to over run off the jumps....This area starts leaking once the carb body gets heat soaked, so usually its only causing a problem after about 5-10 minutes of use.... All of a sudden the motor will start acting lean and the tune will start fluctuating....

well thed speed chassis is nearly finished, chassis made all the running gear is fitted and working. decided to change the picco engines for 2 os 28xz with hong nor big bore pipes.
anyway here are a few update pics

do you also seal carb neck?

Since you're looking for top end, why didn't you go for on road .21s instead of those .28s? Just curious

.21 circuit engines would have been ideal if i was running a multiple gear system in a very lightweight car. but as this is a single speed car and heavy i need the bottom end power of the .28 engines to get it going.
