What does the OS rocket head benefit you over the Stock Head?

Ive seen head temp's on average of 20 to 30deg's. Extreme temps from friends, say up to a 40 deg diffrence, but that was just what they told me and not from me temping there motor.

What you should do is run your motor to optimum temp and power for your area. Lets just say it's 240deg F. Right after that, without touching the needle setting's put the new head on the motor and run the car again. Temp it after a few minutes and you will have your temp diffrence. Lets just say it comes in at 210deg. Then you know you should keep the temps around 205 to 210deg with the new head. Remember having a larger cooling head does not mean you can lean your motor more.

tune by smoke, throttle responce and sound.
temp would be a secondary thing. there are to many varables for temp only.

in theory a bigger cooler head makes more power.
cooler head = cooler engine block and carb which = a cooler dencer air charge.
again "In Theory"
OS will tell you that there head is specific to the heat disapative neads of that specific engine.

Good luck

I'm sure the Rocket head is nice. However, on the V-Specs and the Ninja's, I seriously doubt you will notice any difference at all. These two motors have big, well designed heads.
