i would look for a used Mugen MBX5T prospec in the B/S/T forum...IMHO its the best all around truggy made, also the Losi 8ight T is a great truck, but not as strong as the 5T...

The OCM truggy should be out soon. Should be great value for money and dailed out of the box.

I recently bought the ST-1 and agree. I have also had the CEN Matrix Truggy and by far the ST-1 is better out of the box and a whole lot cheaper.

ST-1 $299/$369 and you can get $25 off at A-Main wth a coupon code (JJDPP25).

CEN $439/$449

Last weekend I ran my RC8 and I let my friend drive the ST-1 (I.E. durablity test). The ST-1 finished without any issue, no breakage, finished third and already has a gallon through it in one weekend. The only additional items I purchased for it was a roto-start, better steering servo and a wing.

take this into account:

The type of track you will be racing on most of the time.

What brand is supported by your local hobby shops.

What are the fast guys running at the track.

Is there any factory support in your area.

Take these into account before price and you will be much happier in the long run.

hope this helps.

oh and by the way...Jammin's new trug will be out "by christmas"

it is the National Champ as of this year truck nats....
