Similar story here.
A year ealier almost all of the racers in our club switched from traditional 3 show clutches to werks or orion, at first it seemed ok everybody, but after half a season - the werks guys kept running and the orion guys started to get more and more trouble, so now everybody is running werks

I ran one for a an entire season with no problems. Just make sure you use blue loctite on the adjuster, and give it a full day to cure and dry. I had it set to act like a hard clutch spring with aluminum shoes, and it gripped hard

The problems we had actually weren't because of the screw. The pins after time got loose and started to have play in them. After that the clutch started guggling and it seemed to make the engine die without any reasons in the middle of the race. After changing the clutch - everything was back to normal.

I think it depends what your running it in, I tried the orion in my 8th buggy, and I just could never get it to engage where I liked the feel of it, and I got really weird wear out of it, I didn't run it very long because it just didn't work well for me, IMO they are more designed for onroad applications, I've never tried the werks thgouh, I'm not a big fan of werks in general so I've always stayed away from them,

I have the Werks the original one and it is easy to get the right tune on it.
I bought me a spare and it was a SPM made in the same factory (correct me if I am whrong). The SPM is mutch harder to get the richt tune. The springs are differend in Q. So if anyone is gone try theme ore switch over to theme. Make sure U buy the real thing or U will dislike the product.

Just buy the one with 4 carbon shoes. Make sure U buy the buggy cluch there are 3 spring in the set. If its a new one just follow the manual and start from there. U will like it as long as U have patciance. When U have the richt set up make sure U use Locktite and U can run at least 5 gallon without even having to look at it.

P.S. Make sure U have a Ofna or Losi style CB.
