Axial .28 clutch springs???
i was putting on my clutch, and i noticed that the clutch spring things wont go in the way they're supposed to.
if you look closely at the clutch shoes you will see that the springs stick up a little at the top of each shoe. how can i prevent this from happening. please help, im sick of not running the motor. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...arstuff002.jpg |
Just looks like you didn't put the springs in right:weird:

The end of the spring that touches the flywheel nut should
go down not up. Hope this makes sense to you. You may have to hold the first clutch shoe you put on up away from the third clutch shoe pin with a small screwdriver to get the third clutch shoe and spring on. Keep a band-aid near by,to fix the hole you mite poke in your finger tip and do'nt cuss too loud. |
i fixed it finally, just had to use common sence. :p
