Started the build, first thing ive come across is i cant get the oversized s5 o rings to fit, the normal s5's the kit comes with are even a tight squeeze. The diff case is the same and so is the diametre of the outdrive shafts, i did notice the outdrives dont have a groove cut into the shafts like the 5r's does.

I think i mentioned this earlier in the thread about no grooves being cut in the outdrives, the UK importer cut his own as he was concerned about them binding up after being run a while, he also mentioned the lack of grooves to Mugen will have to see if this a mistake or if they were meant to be like that, i may well add the grooves after all it will remove a bit of weight

I will be getting my MBX6 kits today. I have two parts cars coming to grab a few spares from for my car and my son's. The rest I will be selling. Anyone needs any parts email me at [email protected]

What doesn't sell I'll throw on EBay this weekend.

Best regards,

Hi All,

With MBX6 parts being 2-3 weeks out, I parted up my extra kits and uploaded everything on to my website under the Mugen category. Once this stuff is gone, that'll be it. Tires and 10th Anniversary T-shirts are on there as well as the parts. I put all the parts into groupings and noted in the description what parts each item comes with and the corresponding Mugen part number. I also have some MBX5R and MBX5T parts I'll upload over the next few days as well as a bunch of brand new tire and wheel sets. Its that time of year to clean out the pit boxes...LOL

I don't have the picture uploaded yet, but will try to get them on there tonight.

Hopefully this will help a few of you guys out.

Thanks and best regards,

I put my mbx6 on one of our shipping scales at work and my buggy came out to 7.315 and this was in race trim minus body and fuel. This was with the kit tires, wheels, stock steel turnbuckles, and nimh battery. With this being said adding some titanium through out the car along with a lipo will get the car down even more.
