There is no issue, RCTech is just full of know-it-alls!!!

Now back to the MBX6, I have heard that Australia will get their shipment before the USofA can anyone confirm this?

it seems all the Team drivers had their kits with both carbon and cnc towers for them to decide which to use after testing, this may reflect on the production kits who knows

from scott hughes

Everyone has been asking me about the weight. Weighed in last night with titanium screws, new light weight OS aluminum head, and fiber brakes at below ROAR limit. If I can get a lipo in it and some more ti parts it can easily be down to the IFMAR limit

ROAR limit 3200 grams
IFMA limit 3000 grams

I'll get the exact grams on my tomorrow.

For reference Mugen lists the 5R at 3500 grams.

Then why ask? Not confident in you source! Even the Australian importer only gave me an approximate arrival date. Until they have left the factory we really won't have a exact arrival date.

All I know is that each and every one of us are waiting for our MBX6 kits to be our own hands. So what if we beat the USA, is not like were going to get a Gold medal for being first.

Just I believe buggy's should be as light as possible, ALL BUGGY's.

Now extra weight may give you the appearence of a better handling buggy, but it's just masking a set-up issue, as more weight slow's the weight transfere rate, as there's more of it to move and therefore makes the buggy more sluggish in the turns, accelerating and braking. This is not a situation i want built into any buggy by design as it can be simulated by set-up, but i can understand why some people would find it easier to drive this way

They are aluminum. Team drivers recieved their cars with both carbon and aluminum towers (was posted a couple posts above) and it seems that all of them used tried and true aluminum. I would guess it's because they are prepping for the worlds and probably don't want to chance the new carbon stuff and risk breaking.
