for anyone who has not seen this or has questions on what adjustment will do what, here is a link.

THe link is for the Xray xb8 but aplies to ALL 1/8 scales. The last several pages have all the adjustments. IT is probably the best you will find and is a must for any racer. I downloaded it to my desk top years ago. JUSt click on the link and open the Instruction manuel and skip to the last several pages.

since you have the updated kit, did it come with a different setup sheet than the orignal one?

hello all, i have been away from racing for about five years but thanks to some old friends that offered to let me drive thier 1/8th scale buggy a few weeks ago i am back. i ran Mugen back then and figured that would be my car of choise again but i did a bunch of research anyway. after reading this thread and talking to a few people i ordered the MBX6 and a RB concept
WS7III with the 2045 pipe combo. i broke the engine in last week and went to the races this week end and it was awsome!!!! the MBX handles great and the WS7 hauls a$$. the driver was rusty and didn't do the car justice but i will work on that.
thanks for all of the info on this thread.

mikel, i got into rc cars so i could do somthing with my son several years ago and after a few months he was tired of it and i was traveling all over racing. about five years ago i switched over to flying rc planes and love it too but have always missed driving 1/8 scale buggies. my wife is not as happy as i am about getting back into racing but you can't have everything.
