Is anybody using the M2C long rear chassis brace? Picked it up and wondering if there's an advantage of using it. I need to drill the chassis if I need extra support

IMHO stay stock. i tried fiber for a couple races last year and went back to stock, stock steel disk simply just work better.

Got a noob question for y'all.

Most set up sheets by mugen drivers include mugen shock and diff oils. I have always mainly ran mugen oils, but is there that much of a difference in other oils? Is the quality any different? I have read and heard different things about the temperature effects oils differently. Is it really just a sticker your paying for or is the quality of mugen oils worth the price?

Shoot me some opinions guys!

They are worth it in my opinion, they last longer before breaking down in my experience.

I recently started using PT Oils and I am very impressed, especially the diff oils. Definitely quality oil. For me, I only use Mugen or PT oils. Also with PT oils, I like how you get twice the amount of oil for just a little more than the mugen price.

I use a tacky grease (Morey's Super Red - http://www.moreyoil.co.nz/moreys-sup...rproof-grease/) on the gearbox where it contacts the chassis. Helps to keep the dirt out. I also use it on the shock & diff orings, and to lube the crown/pinion.

I use the PT oils also. They have been holding up very well. After a weekend of racing all the fluids are still clear and diffs and shocks both have smooth action. I used to run Mugen oils but the PT to me is a much better value....

Blake... This is a shock oil chart that converts CPS (Mugen) to WT. For instance Mugen 450 is about the same as Associated 35 wt.

I don't know if all diff oils are measured the same or not. Anybody??

For me, i have found out that different oil is best at different temp. ranges. F.eks Losi, very good oil from 20 degrees celsius and up. Kyosho is perfekt from 15-25 degrees before the viscosety changes so much that i need to go up or down in viscosety.

I use Mugen oil because it hold up well and my teammates also use it. We can then compare setups and what we feel happends when changing up or down in viscosety or change pistons. I think working togehter as a team and help eachother out is the most important thing as it helps a great deal when chasing setups. I think alot of guys does not think of this.
