Very good news as I want to keep my x6 all MUGEN!

Upper pin holder is already in Oz. Got one last Saturday. One driver had his pin come out of the kit version. Havent had mine come out and havent installed the new holder yet. Well done to Mugen for recognising the issue and getting the part out.
Cheers All

Default Pillar balls

Will Pillar balls from the 5R work for temporary fix?

Having ordered some replacement pivotballs for my X6, they are the optional lightweight ones for the 5/5R/5T so the standard steel ones should work aswell.

This is the reason why i like running reputable named brands, Mugen always address's the problems, if it be a running change or a replacement.

EVERY kit has a problem, its how the manufacturer addresses the problem is what people should be asking!

New Mugen JX-21 B01A Ninja

It now comes with the 7.0 carb insert and lightened cooling head.

The cooling head holes are only drilled in the bottom fins, not in the top fin. Too bad racing is done in the North East. Maybe CRCRC in January or Motorama in February.

Random question - For those who had the mbx5r and the mbx5t, did you use the same starter box settings for both? Did the longer mbx5t chassis affect how it sit on the starter box?

The same peg orientation will not work on the buggy and truggy...Hit up Tony P at Tony's Screws. He has a pretty trick starter box setup to start both the buggy and truggy with one box. Although I don't have his setup, I have seen it used...Works well.

I have been racing the X6 for about a month now with great results. Last night I broke a bushing in the upper hinge pin holder. The holder itself was ok, just the bushing busted out. Is this a result of the hinge pins being a little short as mentioned earlier in this thread? I havent had any probs with it till now.
any thoughts?
thanx
